Prediction for what's on the way

It's mid 2018 and I just wanted to make a comment on direction society has taken.

Celebrity and public shaming are in many ways the twin engines that make our contemporary culture hum. Moreover, the transition away from a fact-based society to a option based society is almost complete.

My prediction for what's on the way... MORE of the same

The China factories are buzzing making cutting edge VR hardware, and software is already available, the transition the simulated really has started.

As our youth retract from real life, their failure-to-launch will become the norm.

Problem/ opportunity:

A  very high percentage of people don't like the way they look in still pictures or on Face-Time or on other videoconferencing type services. Sure it will do fine for family and friends that know you but…. everyone would like to have the option to tweak some things about the way they look when dealing with others.

Idea/ Solution:

Develop software (easy and intuitive…of course) so that to user can adjust their video presentation of themselves to be "what they think they look like".
